NYTA Junior Tennis Programs
With over 31 years of experience the NYTA has become the leader in junior development in Canada. The NYTA atmosphere is fun filled yet goal oriented. With over 500 kids participating in the academy the program has won awards from Tennis Canada and OTA for every level of tennis. During the spring, summer and fall the students train at our North location which is centrally located at Don Mills and Sheppard. The Advanced, Pre-national and National students will have access to outdoor facilities as well as indoor. During the winter months the NYTA has three bubbled locations to choose from for your convenience. The NYTA offers tennis programming year round to our students with after school programs for winter, fall and spring and half day and full day programs for the summer. All tennis lessons will be held in a climate-controlled bubble, therefore extreme heat, cold temperatures, sun, rain and wind will no longer be a factor. The program director is Tyler Prescott. Tyler has been teaching tennis for over 16 years and has worked with juniors from the international level, to tots without any tennis experience. Tyler will be on court and on site for consultation throughout all programs.
To maximize your Child’s development it is imperative that we place your student in the proper class. The NYTA has divided its junior programs into six categories Tots, Beginners, Intermediates, Advanced, Pre-national and National group.
All students who registered for the Tots, Beginner and Intermediate programs will be tested the first day of each session. Advanced, Pre-national and National groups must contact Tyler Prescott to book a testing time.
